If the age-old adage "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach" is anything to go by, Dad should be real pleased dining at these great restaurants, without burning a big hole in your pocket.

Gentle reminder, busy bees: Father's Day is this Sunday. And if you're still wondering where to take him for a nice dinner, here's a list of options for your turn to spoil Dad.

Treat Dad for an indulgent brunch (and maybe some shopping) at Pan Pacific Orchard. With freshly-shucked oysters, fresh seafood that includes Boston lobster, Alaskan king crab and sashimi, there's even a carving station with roast wagyu taking center stage. $88 gets you entry to this buffet with coffee and tea, but the real treat is $158 that gets you free-flow Champagne. Dad can even stand a chance to win a free stay and dining prizes.

Alkaff Mansion

Treat the first special guy in your life with an Italian brunch buffet ($108 per person) at this pristine and picturesque hillside restaurant. Prosecco, wines, draft beer, soft drinks and juices are free-flowing, while the menu features fail-proof choices like octopus carpaccio, stuffed zucchini, their signature lasagne and sirloin beef.

Cafe 2000

Dad's got other plans for dinner? Try lunch, tea or brunch at M Hotel's restaurant. For Father's Day, there's a Saturday Tunch (tea-lunch) at $45 and Sunday brunch at $58 (its steamboat dinner is priced at $68), with crab and lots of seafood on offer. Meals come with two mugs of Tiger beer, and a chance to a win a two-night stay at the hotel.

This French restaurant serves up all-you-can-eat starters and sides like slow braised pork ribs, crab salad maki, grilled tomatoes and grain dauphinois just for the special occasion. There's only one choice for a main (it's an angus ribeye), but the $68 price tag is totally worth it. Desserts include chocolate cake and crepe suzette, which Mom will love.

Seasonal Tastes

This Sunday brunch doesn't come cheap ($158 per person), but what you get is a decadent spread of fresh seafood, pastas and free flow champagne and wine to choose from. Dads also receive 15% off the total bill at the hotel's gastrobar Cook & Brew.
