Singapore's best Japanese restaurant now does takeaway dessert
The classic Ghin cheesecake is back, with other sweet treats in tow.
Waku Ghin is one of our favorite restaurants, but let's face it: it's not an everyday type of place. So we're extra excited that now you don't have to dine-in at the pricey place to gorge on their wonderful desserts, which can now be ordered as take-out. Created by Tetsuya Wakuda, these pastries are available at the Rise Lounge from 11am daily, at their new storefront, the Patisserie Platine.
There are 18 pastries in the menu, with our favorite being the Ghin Cheesecake with a lemon curd in its center. There is also the Matcha Opera with almond sponge and espresso, the Chocolate Mousse with Raspberry and Pistachio (soaked in brandy syrup, to boot) and the Black Forest with cherry liquer and lots of (what else?) chocolate.
Prices start from $10 per pastry, while macaron lovers can get their fix at $25 for a dozen.
