Now you can taste the haute treats even before the shop at Emquartier opens next month.

Renowned Parisian pastry chain Pierre Hermé Paris announced it would be opening its first shop in Southeast Asia in Bangkok last year, and has been keeping the city's sizeable number of macaron connoisseurs waiting ever since.

The shop is set to open its doors at Emquartier this March, but you can already get a taste of the famous macarons by calling 089-365-8888 and pre-ordering them. The order deadline for each week is Tuesday noon and you can pick up your baked goods every Wednesday at its office in All Seasons Place (see below).

Macarons are only available in packages priced at B1,050 for seven, B1,700 for 12, B3,100 for 24 and B3,550 for 20. The assorted macarons come in a special round box. There are currently seven flavors available, which include four signature flavors (rose, caramel, dark chocolate and milk chocolate with passion fruit aka mogador) and three seasonal flavors (truffle, mandarin orage and green apple-celery).

In addition to macaons, you can also order chocolate bonbons at B700/60g, B1,050/120g and B1,500/150g.

Looking for a sweet Valentine's surprise? Be quick, you'll have to pre-order by noon of today (Feb 12).
