Tiong Bahru Bakery just upped their brunch game with a new menu
...and they're totally Instagram-worthy.
Tiong Bahru Bakery (TBB), known for their wicked French treats such as the croissants, kouign-amann and baguettes, and not forgetting their lattes, has now launched their first hot food service, which is only available at the Raffles City outlet for now.
The folks behind TBB felt it was about time they had a full menu, where diners can sit down for a proper, full meal (which is part of the whole cafe culture after all). Their menu is a take on traditional brunch fare with their added spin to it, with offerings such as the chocolate croissant french toast, the pancake burger which comes with bacon, sausage, egg and doused in maple syrup, and their coconut "bacon" sandwich, which is 100% vegan.
We tried a few of their new dishes such as the chicken and cauliflower roast salad ($16) which was a crunchy delight in every bite. The salmon salad ($16) was light and refreshing, and is sprinkled with feta cheese. We ended off the meal with the rainbow rice bowl ($16), a mixture of brown and wild rice, poached egg, pineapple kimchi and purple potato chips (you gotta mix all of them together and dig in).
To whet your appetite, here are some of the highlights from the menu:
Breakfast pancake burger ($18)
Rainbow rice bowl ($16)
Chocolate Croissant Pain Perdu ($16)
Ebiko Crab & Prawn Toastie ($19)
Polenta pop ($16)
