Singapore welcomes three Latin-inspired F&B establishments: Mexican restaurant El Rocho’s, lunch-only buffet restaurant The Latin Quarter and burrito joint Muchachos.

Hot on the heels of eateries like Pistola, J’s and Mex Out, come yet more Latin-inspired F&B establishments: Mexican restaurant El Rocho’s, lunch-only buffet restaurant The Latin Quarter and burrito joint Muchachos (22 Keong Saik Rd.).

Owner-chef Marcus Loh (who trained at the Culinary Institute of America) heads El Rocho’s, which serves Mexican items like Yucatan braised pork ($21), fish ceviche ($17), carne asada ($28), and chicken mole ($19).

From the same folks as Columbian restaurant La Barra at The Star Vista, comes The Latin Quarter, a buffet eating spot where diners get a spread of nine-12 dishes, plus dessert for $13.90. Muchachos, set to open June 28, will serve Mission-style burritos ($12) and will seat around 30 people.
