Chef Ryan Clift is set to open Southeast Asian F&B project Ding Dong and relocate his Dempsey Hill establishment Tippling Club to Tanjong Pagar.

Southeast Asian restaurant and bar Ding Dong (23 Ann Siang Rd.) is set to open on June 24.

The F&B establishment headed by chef Ryan Clift of the Tippling Club will serve Southeast Asian small plates. There’ll also be a range of Asian inspired cocktails at the eatery’s second floor bar.

That’s not all chef Clift has in the works. He’s also planning to relocate his Dempsey Hill restaurant and bar Tippling Club to Tanjong Pagar in September. On the move, he says, “Basically the whole move is to put my concept in a better building with better access to the drinking crowd—for our award winning cocktails—and to have a dining room that stands up to the cuisine.”

Chef Clift adds, “The food and drinks have evolved that much in the past five years that I feel we need to up the ante with the whole experience at Tippling.”

The new location will have a second floor private dining room and test kitchen (in partnership with high end German home appliance manufacturer Gaggenau).
