Some of Bangkok’s best restaurants have massive deals going on right now
Eat at Robuchon, La Bottega, Jua and more...
BK Restaurant Week booking partner Tavolos is back with another round of restaurant promotions at some of Bangkok's best eateries, including L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, Jua and La Bottega di Luca. The full list of restaurants features some unmissable names, with a diverse range of menus and price points. One of the benefits here is that you aren’t hit with a nasty, unexpected bill at the end of the meal, which anyone who eats out a lot in Bangkok will probably have experienced at least once. Keep in mind, these deals don’t include drinks.
Awarded 28 Michelin stars across 20 restaurants, Joel Robuchon is one of the most important French chefs since Escoffier pioneered fine cooking in the 19th century.
For its Tavolos promotion, his Bangkok location has created the Menu Decouverte for B1,500++. The meal begins with the traditional amuse-bouche, a series of small dishes to whet the palate. The main menu then moves on to a stunningly fresh sea bass carpaccio and then free-range quail—stuffed with decadent foie gras and potato purée.

Among Bangkok foodies, Luca Appino is revered for his contributions to the city's culinary scene, such as Via Maris, Il Fumo and the long-standing Italian spot, La Bottega di Luca.
La Bottega’s Tavolos menu clocks in at B1,700. This gets you the chance to taste tender grilled octopus sitting atop a chilled green pea soup, a dish that pairs particularly well with creamy stracciatella cheese and tomato confit. If you want a slab of quality beef instead, go for the black angus cheek served with silky sauteed artichoke.

Christmas is the season to eat well and be merry. Just ask Jamie's Italian, the restaurant from British celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. They'll be serving festive favorites like roast chicken—locally sourced from Sirin Farm—and prime angus beef fillet.
Prices start at B1,050, with a free glass of Prosecco for early bird bookings. Wine pairings are also available with your Christmas dinner for an additional fee of B500 for house wines and B1,050 for sparkling wines.

Niks Anuman-Rajadhon, the mastermind behind Teens of Thailand (one of the world's top 50 bars), is back with a new venue dedicated locally sourced Thai ingredients. His special Tavolos menu is all about chocolate. For B1,000, you'll get four cocktails, each with its own chocolatey twist—from a cocoa gin and tonic with spicy roselle powder to the Chocolate Shoot, which sees him blend chocolate bourbon liqueur with green chartreuse, ginger beer, cacao bean cup and dried coconut.

Once a humble street food truck, Pizza Massilia is now a haven for Bangkok's Italian food lovers. Just in time for Christmas, it has unveiled a new restaurant offer—B4,900 gets you a meal for four to six people, including four appetizers, four main courses, four desserts and your choice of beer or wine. If you head out with the full party of six, that can work out at as little as B817 per head. A nice mates night out to celebrate the festive season, we’d say.

If you’re looking for a unique, one-off experience, then Chang Chui's famous airplane-themed restaurant is a good place to start. Go down a multicultural journey with its Diaspora menu. Choose how you dine, from the five-course Economy menu (B1,500) to the First Class chef's selection (B5,500).
Expect dishes like sumptuous foie gras, slow-cooked in fat and served with fermented black beans and rillettes. Alternatively, 'The Remain' is a pork belly dish served on a bed of caramel soy and mixed berries. The First Class option must be booked five days in advance.

This bistro effortlessly combines quality and affordability. Its sweeping, 37th-floor river views set the tone for well-executed comfort food. For its Tavolos restaurant deal, Scarlett has put together a three-course menu with different options for each course.
Highlights include marinated beef carpaccio (with crispy parmesan, basil emulsion and edible flowers), salmon mi-cuit (with a smoked carrot mousse and fennel confit) and a sherbet platter with a selection of three homemade varieties.
Better still, if you book for a party of four or more through Tavolos, you'll each receive a chef's special amuse-bouche.

Jua is the sort of place that helped Charoenkrung earn its reputation as “Bangkok's hippest street” through much of 2017. It strikes the perfect balance of refined yet wallet-friendly, simple yet creative, artsy, and effortlessly cool.
For B1,000+, its Tavolos menu includes a selection of five skewers (chef's choice of yakitori or kushiyaki), corn butter bacon, tomato salad (with grape tomatoes, shiso pesto, goats' cheese, wasabi and a plum vinaigrette), one glass of Ozeki silver sake and your choice of yuzu or chocolate trifle for dessert.
Plus, if you're in the mood for more drinks, you can add a sake flight (three glasses of premium sake) for B800+.
