The cool new space will take over the space formerly occupied by Wendy's in Wheelock Place

If you're stuck for fun places to drink on Orchard, look no further. One Fullerton's American-inspired diner and bar, OverEasy, is getting a second outlet and it's going to take over the subterranean space formerly occupied by fast food joint, Wendy's.

They're kicking things up a notch with sexier decor and college-style stadium bleachers under the staircase. The space will have a glam '60s vibe without losing the kitschy neon touches and diner feel. Plus, the space also pays a small homage to the McDonald's outlet that used to occupy the space in the '70s and '80s.

Launch in August, OverEasy Orchard will do alcoholic slushies, fresh cold-pressed juices and an American-centric shot selection. Aside from the famous burgers, there will be an expanded food menu with things like popcorn chicken with salted caramel popcorn, as well as avocado toast.
