Two small restaurants recently opened their doors in Sukhumvit. Thai Room (103 Sukhumvit Soi 22, 02-258-2401) will offer local dishes in a retro, kitsch setting. Expect lots of wood, Buddha masks and those little drink carts next to your table. And over on Thong Lor, Tiny Room (25/5 Sukhumvit Soi 55, 02-381-6788) features a lone lady cooking up international/Japanese-fusion stir-fries and pastas.
