The latest branch of cafe Food For Thought is set to open at the National Museum of Singapore (NMS) on May 25, in the space formerly occupied by fine dining establishment Novus.

A new outlet of cafe Food For Thought is set to open at the National Museum of Singapore on May 25, in the space formerly occupied by fine dining establishment Novus.

Pearly Teo, corporate communications manager at Food For Thought says, “The latest branch serves playful new takes on old favorites. The food is modern Singaporean—with bold Southeast Asian flavors and global influences—such as the pancakes with mee chang kueh butter and spiced gula melaka syrup.”

The restaurant’s decor will also be retro-inspired with marble laminate tables and wall mosaics similar to those common at kopitiams and zi char eateries. Plus, the establishment plans to host dining experiences themed around national issues.

That’s not all the F&B group has in the works. They’ll also be opening a pop-up burger shack called fast Food For Thought at the Singapore Art Museum from June to September, 2013. There's already another a branch of Food For Thought at the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
