Maki Maki (88 Thonglor Soi 5, 02-712-8181) is yet another new place doing sushi with a twist. Chef Yindee, who previously worked in Chicago, looks to strike a balance between Eastern and Western influences. Set amid a cozy industrial décor, the place also pays great attention to artistic presentation. Expect dishes like Dragon Fly (shrimp tempura in maki, B330), Orange Dragon (maki with salmon, B290) and the nigiri set (B380).
