Famed Kampong Glam cocktail bar (and cafe) Maison Ikkoku and its inimitable head bartender Ethan Leslie Leong is set to open a new place.

Located in The Legends at Fort Canning Park, which is also going to be the home of new French museum Pinacotheque, the 30-seater restaurant sees Ethan Leslie Leong in the kitchen instead of being behind the bar. Unlike Maison Ikkoku, this place is geared more towards dining and will be called Fort (no points for guessing why). 

Although we know they'll be serving up Western cuisine, there's no word as to what country it will focus on. Just expect your food to be paired with, what else but, cocktails. We hear there's going to be a cocktail pairing menu, too.
