Chef Ian Kittichai is at it again. While we’re still grappling with rumors that he’s taking over the beautiful colonial house that used to be Le Café Siam, the Hyde and Seek partner has opened Sucre (5/F, Siam Paragon, Rama 1 Rd., 089-014-6055). The colorful space feels like a cross between Minibar Deli and the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and the sugary offerings will surely delight the prototypical Paragon shopper. The circus-fonted menu offers crepes, sandwiches and desserts like green tea tiramisu and cupcakes.
