Previously, one of the only bright stars on Sukhumvit Soi 19 had been Le Beaulieu and, let’s face it, you can’t dine there every day. So we’re excited about this new Italian-style eatery with a long wine list and affordable price tags. Pumpkin in Italian, Zucca (3/F Metha Wathana Building, Sukhumvit Soi 19. Open Tue-Sun 6pm-1am) is a casual place with lots of wood, graphic art on the wall and a nice garden-style balcony. They do dishes like pasta nero (B320), cheese risotto (B320) and slow-cooked lamb shank (B630).
