Portland-based pancake chain Slappy Cakes has just launched a Singapore branch at The Grandstand.

Portland-based pancake house Slappy Cakes is now open at The Grandstand, in a space formerly occupied by the bakery of fusion restaurant MAD.

The place serves DIY pancakes and customers can pick different batters ($8)—including peanut butter, chocolate, buttermilk and whole grain—to match with fixings (from $1.50) such as chocolate chips granola and even crispy bacon. The pancakes are then cooked on in-table hot plates.

With branches in Hawaii, Tokyo and Manila, this Singapore outlet is the brand’s fifth branch. The restaurant is also highly rated by the Food Network in America.
