LITTLE TREE

Not as little as its name implies, this four-rai space comprises a spacious garden and restaurant styled like an English cottage. We recommend the kiaw wan grub gala (green curry with pork rib and crunchy coconut served with brown rice, B150), scones (B69), chocolate butterscotch macadamia (B110) and apple-bilimbi smoothie (B80).
Sam Phran, Nakhon Pathom, 081-824-4119. Open Tue-Sun 9am-6pm

RIVA FLOATING CAFE

Located in the Parndhevi Riverside Resort & Spa, this cafe offers slow-drip coffee, a variety of baked goods like coconut cake (B80) and scones (served with pomelo jam and cream, B80), as well as smoked salmon pizza (B250). Perfectly connected with nature, the cafe sits on a wooden raft overlooking the Nakon Chai Si River.
Putthamonthon Sai 7 Rd., Nakhon Pathom, 034-312-190. Open daily Mon-Fri 10am-8pm and Sat-Sun 9am-9pm

CHIT BEER

Take the ferry over to Koh Kret to get acquainted with the frontline of Bangkok’s homebrew beer scene. Chit Beer doesn’t just serve Amber Ale, Porter, IPA and Strawberry Weizen (all B100 per glass), but also some tasty buffalo wings in Mexican sauce (B150 for 10 pieces). There’s a brewing academy, too, if you’re interested in learning more.
Chit Beer, Koh Kret, Nonthaburi, 089-799-1123. Open Sat-Sun 1pm-8pm
