The Singapore Sling has survived for 100 years, and while we're very excited to see it on cocktail menus around the world, here are a few other, more spirit-forward concoctions we hope will make us proud in the next century.

Old Town Singapura ($23)

Almost everything on Mars Bar's menu is locally-inspired, but this one is a great variation on the Singapore Sling. It has cognac, Antica Formula, rye, Peychaud's bitters and in-house blend bitters in it.

Pisco at the Disco ($23)

Franco-Asian cocktail bar L'Aiglon has recently gone through an entire menu revamp, and this cocktail is one of our favorites, with its tropical flavors of hibiscus-infused pisco, ginger, Sichuan pear syrup and lime.

Singapura Sling ($20)

The Nutmeg & Clove reincarnation of the classic drink is more balanced while still packing a punch. Instead of a shaken drink, they've barrel-aged it with hibiscus-tinged gin, Benedictine DOM and goji and red date syrup.

Singapore Sling ($23)

David Myers' Marina Bay Sands restaurant may be a little pricey, as far as small sharing plates go, but Adrift's cocktail program is still stellar. The bar team has recreated the cocktail with gin, house-made liqueurs and juices and a fresh lemon.

Tropic Thunder ($20)

The boys at 28HKS never go wrong. Peter Chua's creation includes cachaca, mango, lime, allspice and chile beer foam for a spicy but super tropical kick.
