Les Amis and Caveau close for renovations while Morton's reopens with a swanky new look.

After bagging the 13th spot for San Pellegrino's Asia's Best Restaurant, French fine dining stalwart Les Amis shutters for a month-long renovation. The restaurant will re-open in mid-April, sporting an eco-friendly kitchen and more tables to seat 100 diners. Plus, they'll be debuting new lunch menus that include the three-course express meal ($55) and a decadent seven-course degustation option ($145).

A few doors down, the group's wine bar Caveau will also undergo a renovation. If you're hankering for wine, it'll be reopening April 22 with an updated look and more European bottles, with a strong emphasis on French wines.

Meanwhile, Morton's The Steakhouse has reopened with a sleek new look, with lots of pristine white and dark wood walls. Everything's a little more modern, and it's a nice upgrade from the traditional western steakhouse look. The bar also has an airier look complete with chi chi chandeliers, plus a swish annex that's just nice for downing their signature (and deadly) Mortinis. Don't forget the steak sandwiches while you're at it.
