It seems like the Singapore Land Tower is shaping up to be downtowns hottest new F&B destination with the opening of four restuarants all under one roof.

With three restaurants and a club-lounge taking over the vertiginous 45th and 46th floors of the Singapore Land Tower, it seems like the downtown area has welcomed a serious new player when it comes to wining, dining and partying.

Sear

As the newest addition to the 50RP lifestyle concept, this modern American steakhouse on the 45th floor pulls out all the stops. Aside from the prerequisite dark wood, leather and metal treatment you find at most steak places, they also offer up some rather interesting cuts of meats. From Japan's Kobe beef to New Zealand's lesser-known Wakanui loins and rib eyes, there's an around-the-world in 80 cuts treatment going on here. They've also got tons of seafood for those not into all that meaty goodness, as well as a good choice of sides and sauces. And if you're feeling indecisive, just go for the Tasting Trio featuring Canadian, New Zealand and Aussie cuts on one platter.

Angie's Oyster Bar

Oysters is a craze that is definitely here to stay. This French-inspired oyster bistro-bar has an ever-changing rotation of oysters from all over the world and a big list of vintage Champagne to go with. There are also other seafood dishes like grilled lobster, fish and mixed platters containing options like Alaskan king crab legs and scallop ceviche. It's not just pure seafood, though, the place also does a first-come, first-served Cajun cuisine slot, as well as a $1 Wednesday oyster special.

Teikoku

Not much is currently known about this Japanese small plates and sake restaurant, except that it will be situated on the 46th floor. Slated to open by 2015, there's a sake menu dedicated to smaller artisanal labels and a pairing menu of seasonal Japanese tapas and izakaya-style plates.

Empire

If all that food has got you thirsty, head to this 45th floor club-lounge which offers a live DJ and a raft of drinks. The chic-minimalist space is actually pretty small inside but the floor-to-ceiling windows certainly help accentuate the view and the sizeable outdoor terrace. If you manage to get there early (they open at 5pm), they've got happy hour drinks and bar bites like Louisiana frog leg drums, too. Things get a little more uptempo at the weekends, though, with Elevation and Metropolis featuring guest DJs on Fridays and Saturdays from 10pm.
