Another Kinokuniya Wallet Friendly book sale kicks off today in Bangkok
Did you miss the July sales at Emporium and Paragon? Here’s your third chance to grab a bargain.
Kinokuniya has come back with yet again another Wallet Friendly book sale, most likely their last one in 2014.
Starting today (Aug 14) until Aug 28, selected titles in English and Japanese (sorry, no Thai) will be up for grabs at the Isetan (CentralWorld) branch.
Like usual, their selection will cover general fiction hardcovers to mass market paperbacks of romance novels and mysteries/thriller, and from classics to children’s and young adult books, with self-help and business books here and there.
Expect discounts of up to 70 percent on paperbacks; some might be as low as 30 or 50 baht after discount (what a steal!). Fans of hardcovers can enjoy the usual 50 percent discount. Just note, the 10 percent discount from membership cards will not apply to sale items.
We have to warn you that the sale tables will have mostly shelf-worn, nobody-reads-them kind of books, but isn’t scavenging for a rare gem the funnest part of it? Have fun hunting!
