The Camera d'Or winning filmmaker stars in Tiger Beer's latest campaign.

It's great to be Anthony Chen these days (read our interview with him from the good ol' days when he was still fresh from his success). The Cannes-lauded director of Ilo Ilo was profiled yesterday in The New York Times, where he shared about how he's been actively lobbying the government to provide more support for homegrown filmmakers (thumbs up for that).

In way less indie news, the lucky lad will also be starring in the snazzy new campaign by Tiger Beer, called Uncaged (see the video below), which will be promoted in 25 global markets (a sure sign of being truly famous?). In the minute-long commercial, he shares the struggles he has faced in his filmmaking career.
