Good news for internet addicts. Not only you can now use Wi-Fi on board of Thai Airways’ flights, but you’ll soon be able to use free Wi-Fi at the main airports in Thailand.

Thirty minutes to an hour of free Wi-Fi is becoming pretty standard in airports around the world. Aiming to keep up with international service standards, Airports of Thailand (AOT) struck a deal with True Corporation and recently announced that from April on, it will offer free Wi-Fi at the six main airports: Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket and Had Yai. The free Wi-Fi service will be available for each user for two hours, with a maximum speed of 10 megabytes per second, according to the AOT’s chairman, Sita Divari. Of course, announcing free Wi-Fi is easy. Let's see what kind of bandwidth they actually deliver in the end.
