Popcorn giant Garrett has made Krispy Kreme a thing of the past, judging by the snaking queue in front of Siam Paragon before its opening today.

Around since 1935, this American brand has finally reached Bangkok and is still boasting of producing gourmet popcorn in old-fashioned copper kettles.

No more asking your friends to carry over a bag from Singapore. They now offer five flavors: plain, cheese corn, Chicago mix, caramel crisp and caramel crisp with nuts. Prices? Small size starts from B90 for plain to B140 for caramel crisp with nuts.
