L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon has put out a job ad, confirming the famed French chef is opening a restaurant in Bangkok soon.

Update: See BK's full profile of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon

Joel Robuchon operates restaurants totaling 28 Michelin stars, more than any other chef in the world. Not only is it confirmed he will open at Mahanakhon Cube, the retail wing of the as-yet-unbuilt skyscraper, but he’s just started hiring.

The concept of L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon is that “guests are part of the action.” So basically, you’ll get to see Robuchon’s new hands up close, as they dice, grill and sauté your food in an open kitchen surrounded by a high bar.

Given the long list of open positions, it looks like they’re just getting started on putting this thing together, though. And we wouldn’t be surprised if the restaurant, set to open in Spring 2014, is delayed.

As for the rest us, the only way we’re going to see that kitchen is if we start saving now.

Again, all this leads to the question, is the Michelin Guide coming to Bangkok?
