These household names were recognized at this year's Singapore Experience Awards, dedicated to promoting homegrown efforts to deliver unforgettable experiences to locals and tourists alike.

Nightlife, retail and F&B stalwarts Zouk, TANGS and Deliciae were among the names honored at this year's Singapore Experience Awards on October 21 at Singapore Marriott Hotel.

22 years on, dance instituition Zouk is still going strong, clinching the Best Nightspot Experience award and beating Tanjong Beach Club and The Vault for top honors. [Read more about The Vault here.] Another top nightlife spot is 1-Altitude, which came out tops in the Customer Service category.

The iconic TANGS, which has really upped their game when it comes to stocking forward-thinking local designers, also bested shiny new malls ION Orchard and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands for Best Shopping Experience.

Deliciae CEO Olivier Bendel was named Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year. The prolific restaurateur is notable for breathing life into Duxton Hill with eateries like Sabio and bringing in celeb chef Bruno Ménard at &MADE and La Cantine. L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon clinched Best Dining Experience, edging out stiff competition from other quality establishments, CUT, JAAN and The White Rabbit.

Other notable names are Capella Hotel Singapore for Best Hotel Experience, Night Safari for Best Visitor Attraction Experience and Gardens by the Bay for Breakthrough Contribution to Tourism.
