While the battle for Makkasan has been a hot topic for some time now, there are still plenty of efforts afoot to bring public attention to the green space’s cloudy future. A free concert on May 25 will see many renowned musicians, including Lek (Greasy Café), Bee Kanakam Abhiradee, Ga-Pi, Aoo (The Yers), Beau (Triumph Kingdom), Mint in Motion, Knock the Knock, Pango, Summer Stop, Phoomjitr (Lemon Factory), Tong Jerry and Tue’sday, gather to shout the message from the treetops. The concert takes place from 3-9pm at the Pirompakdee Sala of that other green lung of ours, Lumpini Park.
