We’re quite surprised and a little sad to learn that just after adding some life to the local music scene, through weekly gigs featuring rising bands like Casinotone, Noah’s Tape and lots of artists from Panda Records, The Woodstock Bar & Grill on Thonglor Soi 13 has shut its doors for good at super short notice. Although they’re saying it’s permanent, we still hold out some hope that the venue could be up and running again in the future. Some better news: after getting a good response in Sukhumvit Soi 11, the 19th Century lab-inspired bar Apoteka is to expand with a second branch at Grass Thonglor right opposite Fat Gut’z.
