Aldo’s (7/F, The Ascott Sathorn, 187 Sathorn Rd., 02-676-6969) is still one of only two restaurants in Bangkok to have gotten a nod from Wine Spectator Magazine for its lovely and wide-ranging wine list. We also like its location at the petite Ascott, its view of the pool and its wine preservation system that dispenses half-glasses and glasses of several wines at a go, so you can taste many labels without committing to the bottle.
