There’s a new, homey bar and bistro on Thong Lor. Bangkok Bitter (88 Thong Lor Soi 5, 02-712-7997). With a vibe that’s a cross between Greyhound and your favorite Instagram photos, this high-ceilinged, loft-like space features enormous brick walls, cozy retro sofas and hanging lamps. The menu is a mix of pizzas, pastas and Thai, and the drinks look like there’s a slight emphasis on imported beers.
