Energy-saving ventures
We’re happy to see that Bangkok is committing a bit more fully to being truly green. The BMA and the Ministry of Energy are launching a campaign to persuade businesses to switch over to energy efficient light bulbs, improve energy infrastructure through solar cells and hydro power and implement the use of organic fertilizers in 84 schools around the city. The hope is to replace at least 13,000 light bulbs around the city as well. We hope this means those nuclear power plants everyone is arguing about won’t be necessary.
