Aํpart from CentralWorld's re-opening, yesterday also saw the highly-anticipated opening of Thailand's very first branch of Krispy Kreme, a famous American premium donut shop. The buzz was hysteric with people tweeting and Facebooking about it all day long--though not so much about the donut itself, but the snaking queue of overexcited Krispy Kreme cravers and the lucky person who won the free one-year supply of the deep-fried dough (btw it went to the customer who had to camp overnight to be the first in line).

Located on the Paragon's G floor, the shop features a unique "donut theater," which shows how the stuff is made right before your eyes (didn't Roti Boy have that, too?). Have you tired it?
