Since its opening a few years back, The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon earned its stripes as not just a fancy hotel but also a player in the city’s dining scene with the likes of Ojo, Mott 32, Tease, The Standard Grill, and Sky Beach—all worthy of a visit whether you are staying at the hotel or not.

With the festive season around the corner, all of those venues are getting the holiday vibes treatment with a lineup of awesome feasts and events. It’s not just about the usual festive decorations, though. True to The Standard brand, the December activities take a decidedly artsy turn towards beautiful chaos, and a few surprises to make this end-of-year celebration one of the best yet.

Here’s some of what you can look forward to this year:

Tease

The Standard’s flagship tea room is bringing an all-new, camera-ready and tasty special afternoon tea set (B999/person) with pistachio praline, Christmas tree pastries, cranberry orange scones, and more through December.

The Standard Grill

The grill’s festive menu features truffle tagliatelle, CopperTree Farms beef rossini, Glacier 51 toothfish, and more special dishes from Dec 20-30, as well as complimentary mulled wine and live jazz for their Christmas eve dinner on Dec 24; a family-style Christmas Day lunch (B1,800/adult, B900/child); and a lively New Year’s Day brunch (B1,500/adult, B750/child).

Ojo

The hotel’s sky-high fine-dining specialist is launching an all-new a la carte menu for December, including the likes of quesadilla de hongos, king crab al guajillo. It’s also dishing out special set menus for a Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day lunch and dinner (B3,600/adult, B1,800/child). On the last day of the year, the venue will host a New Year’s Eve soiree in the evening with free flow beverages, pass-around canapés, and additional glass of Champagne and live music performances at the end of the night and the start of the new year gets closer.

The Parlor and Double Standard

Both venues will co-host a high-spirited Christmas market where you can dig for cool finds from creative local brands, plus attend some workshops to add a bit more fun to the event—from Dec 21-22.

Sky Beach

The highest bar in the city will host a countdown party electrified with groovy beats by DJ Alex from Tokyo, Ekception, and Max Flavor, as well as unlimited drinks during the 4 and a half-hour open bar (B9,000/person for general admission).
