Thailand’s Franco-Thai cultural center, Alliance Française, knows all things French, and now they’ve got a spot at their building to put their spin on the cuisine, built to model a low-key French grocery.
The space opened to the public last week and is found at the Alliance Française location off Witthayu. Previously home to Café Mademoiselle, Bonjour Bonsoir is a modern, family friendly location serving up classic, no nonsense French cuisine.
But, of course, it’s not just about the food. The Alliance Française is known for their cultural programs and events—from animation festivals to Bastille Day celebrations—so this will be a spot to watch for future Francophiles.
Here you can look for the likes of a traditional burrata or a custard fruit tart, but you’ll also find workshops and occasional live music. Diners will find both table and bar seating as well as a sofa area for relaxing. Last weekend, they kicked off their opening with pastries by Food School, a juice party, and live music by Vee and Khela.
Outside of the new restaurant, Alliance Française continues their Galleries' Nights 2024 this weekend with a showing from Anchalee Rattanaruangsup starting Nov 22.
