Putting an Indian Accent in contemporary dishes.

All the way from New Delhi, Indian Accent restaurant is setting up a one month pop-up at Anantara Siam which will end on September 22, but don’t worry because they will pick things up again from Oct 1-15.

Indian Accent is known for adapting Indian cuisine for an international palate. Currently, they have branches in New Delhi, Mumbai, and New York.

The restaurant’s reputation includes awards such as the No.26 spot on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024 and being listed as the top Indian restaurant by Condé Nast Traveller India.

For this pop-up, executive chef Shantanu Mehrotra will be bringing his two decades of culinary experience to this food journey. You can try out their lunch and dinner a la carte options or a set tasting menu which does come with vegetarian and dairy-free options.

Some of our favorites include the curry leaf crab kasundi; the tender crab meat that has been tossed with salt and pepper sits on top of the light coconut cream foam.

A dish similar to a risotto uses gobindobhog, a similar type of grain as a base. The rice is typically grown in West Bengal and used to make kheer, but here the restaurant presents a savory rendition and tops it with minced chicken mixed in with cream, yogurt, and fresh parsley. The vegetarian option pivots to morel stuffed with wild mushrooms and doused with parmesan cheese and truffles.

Dishes like the braised lamb shank and crusted rawa sea bass can be enjoyed with bite size naan bread stuffed with your choice of flavors from bacon, chicken, to mushrooms.

Don’t miss their signatured daulat ki chaat, a fluffy souffle-consistency dessert with hints of saffron and sprinkled with some almonds.
