Following the launch of Golden Goose at EmQuartier in March, the Italian sneaker fashion house is giving Thai fans an extra treat with the brand’s first ever cafe titled “Younique.”

 

The coffee shop is conjoined with its clothing and sneaker store, decorated with Golden Goose’s house colors: a clean black and white theme with the familiar reflective gold accents we see on their signature star logo. 

 

 

BK ordered the signature triple shot espresso (B120) and went with the Colombian blend which leaves a rejuvenating tangy and floral aftertaste. It’s also gimmicky, served in a stack of cups.

 

 

Known for their customizable kicks and a worn-in look you can personalize in store, the cafe takes after this one of a kind experience by allowing customers to select a quote to be printed on the sleeve of your takeaway cup. 

 

 

The signature golden affogato (B320) is served with a scoop of gluten free mascarpone gelato, which you can swap out for the chocolate or vegan-flavored matcha. However, the mascarpone adds a bit of edge as the cream cheese complements the bitter notes of its coffee base.

 

 

If you’re not buzzing with caffeine by then, share a cup of tiramisu (B600). They swap out the typical ladyfingers with imported Italian pastry sfogliatina fantoni, giving the addictive bites an airier foundation. 

 

You can also bedazzle the dessert even further with some gold flakes topping (B600) which doesn’t do much to the flavor but will garner some oohs and ahhs from the social media crowd.
