Barcelona, Tokyo, Taipei, Cyprus—it’s all good news for cocktail lovers

For the month of August, Bangkok’s favorite old school speakeasy will be putting on guest shifts with winners from around the globe to celebrate their sixth anniversary on the city’s bar scene.

Find the Locker Room, which took home Bartender of the Year with Thanachot “Ong” Lohanimit at the BAD Awards 2023 earlier this year, has been blowing Bangkok’s socks off with creative cocktails, jazzy classics, and signature speakeasy style for the better part of a decade. Now, they’re bringing in special talent to treat their regulars to new boozy potions.

The month-long cocktail event kicks off on Aug 3 with Dinos Constantinides out of Cyprus’ Lost and Found Drinkery.

Then on Aug 15 they’ll kick things up a notch with a double bill bringing in Room by Le Kief with Seven Yi and Yi-Che Liao from Moon Rock—both bars hailing from Taiwan. On Aug 16, the speakeasy spot will host William Wu out of The Public House, also out of Taiwan. The Bellwood will be sending Atsushi and Ayaka Terai from Tokyo on Aug 23.

The next night and penultimate event will feature a founder’s night at Find the Locker Room, featuring the local talent from the five-strong team, with Colin Chia, Hidetsugu Ueno, Nick Wu, Ronnaporn Kanivichaporn, Chennarong Bhumichitr.

The final event on Aug 28, will bring Cesar Montilla all the way from Barcelona’s Dr. Stravinsky for one final evening of special cocktails from FTLR.

Find the Locker Room hit the scene as a hidden speakeasy behind locker room doors in 2017 and is now spread across two floors of a shop-house. Today, this spot is anything but hidden, ranking among Thonglor’s most beloved cocktail hangs and at No.78 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 51-100 last week
