The Mexican embassy promotes 20 days of Taco Fest.

Just in time to celebrate the Day of the Dead in style, the Mexican embassy has partnered with local restaurants to promote Taco Fest from Nov 1-20.

Taco Fest, which first hit Bangkok in 2020, features taco specials at 13 participating restaurants in Bangkok and aims to help promote the culture of Mexican food. Patrons can collect “points” and redeem them for as-yet unnamed rewards and giveaways, so you have an economic—nay, a moral—reason to eat as many tacos as possible.

Participating restaurants this year include Mexicano Restaurante Autentico, La Lupita, Cali-Mex (Silom), Cholos BKK, The Missing Burro, Taco Bell at Sukhumvit 11 and Mercury Ville, La Hefa Mexican Grill, Tortilla Quemada, Wraptor on Sukhumvit 71, The Spotted Pig, Bowlito at Sathorn Square, La Monita Taqueria, and Sensii Terrace.

This year has seen a spate of new Mexican fine dining restaurants opening—from Santiaga to Ojo—and the first week of Taco Fest opens on Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican Day of the Dead.
