South Korea’s massively popular breakfast spot, Eggdrop, is coming to Bangkok—with its first branch set to open in Siam Square this October.
Known for its wide variety of fluffy and gooey egg fillings wrapped in thick slices of brioche, the franchise gained global attention thanks to Korean television drama series Hospital Playlists (2020) where cast members would tease the audience’s taste buds by eating the sandwiches on screen.
Expect the same iconic visual aesthetics of thick butter toasted bread slices stuffed with ham, cheese, and crispy bacon to be filling up your Instagram feeds in no time.
Eggdrop’s first store opened in 2017, and the brand has since expanded to more than 275 locations across South Korea.
