Monument of Hope

Head to Bangkok CityCity Gallery for renowned Thai street artist Alex Face’s solo exhibition. Monument of Hope includes a collection of new still life paintings the artist created during Thailand’s recent lockdown, along with two large-scale bronze sculptures. The official opening is on Oct 31 from 5-8pm.

Inhibition

Speedy Grandma is hosting Inhibition, an exhibition where you can get a glimpse of how an artist’s studio, or in most cases home, look like. This is a chance for you to see the work of art before its unveil to the public, which is a rare sight. Featured artists are Pasuth Sa-ingthong and Peerada Puapoomcharoen.

Poetry, Beats, and Jams at The Yard

The Bangkok Shoe Forum

This weekend, Allan Donnelly, the shoemaker behind the bespoke, handmade Don’s Footwear brand, will be hosting a three-day event at Duke that no shoe connoisseur will want to miss. Expect top-drawer bespoke and ready-to-wear shoes from leading Thai and international men’s footwear brands, including W.Ministry, The Somchai, Winston Maison, and Don’s Footwear among many others. The event will include loads of product highlights, a shoeshine competition, and a giveaway.
