One of our
up-and-coming artists, Natnaree “MM” Kosum, is gearing up to showcase her quarantine creations. You can catch her exhibition, “This House Made of Clay,” at riverside gallery
The Jam Factory from
Jul 12 until Aug 16.
This exhibition features pieces from her new series, which she worked on during the lockdown in Pattaya—hence the beach references and yearning feeling.
MM is known for her mixed-media and experimental techniques; she works with everything from threads and paints to clay. These are exemplified in works like “Boy on a Dolphin,” a mix of acrylic, spray paint, pencil, oil pastel and ink on canvas, and “Green Eyes,” a mix of acrylic, spray paint, pencil, ink and modeling paste on canvas.
You can join the
opening reception on Jul 12, 6pm to 9pm, or visit Mon-Sun 11am-8pm through Aug 16.
