Before the pandemic, the resort had just introduced its new Jungle Bubbles. Perched on wooden decks out in the resort’s 65 lush hectares of land, the totally transparent, 22-sq-meter rooms come with the same excellent amenities as the rest of the resort—king beds, crisp white linens, in-room dining service and all the rest. The key difference is these rooms offer close-up experiences with the 20-plus rescued elephants that roam the resort grounds and clear views of the starry sky at night.
Now, you can book a stay in a Jungle Bubble for two for B12,000/night (includes one dinner basket; normally B20,000/night) through Jul 31.
You can score discounts across the property, too. Those include stays for two in the spacious Three Country View Suite. Normally, these would set you back over B34,000/night. Now, they’re going for B16,000/night (valid through Jul 31; add B2,500/night per child aged 4-12 or B3,500 per additional adult), and bookings include one close-up experience with the elephants per person. Stay eight or more nights in a row, and you’ll get a free Thai set menu for dinner each day, too.
Guests can also add an activity bundle for B5,000, which gets you three of the following: the signature “walking with giants” and elephant learning experiences; a 60-minute spa treatment; a 60-minute private yoga or Pilates session; a sidecar tour in a Royal Enfield Classic 500; a rice planting experience; a 60-minute longtail boat trip on the Mekong; a 60-minute muay Thai class; or a cooking class.
