A pioneer on the Bangkok fine-dining scene, Water Library Chamchuri is gearing up for its 10th anniversary—no mean feat given this city's notoriously fickle nature. And a lot has changed in that time.

To celebrate this Jun 13-16, it's offering special four-course lunch (B2,200) and six-course dinner (B3,900) menus prepared by Haikal Johari, executive chef of Water Library Group and Singapore's Alma by Juan Amador, and rising Water Library chef de cuisine Phuvedej Techajiratthakarn.

Anyone who's followed the Water Library story over the past decade—during which they've been a staple in our Top Tables fine-dining guide—would know to expect expertly-executed contemporary European dishes that draw on local, seasonal flavors. In this case, that includes the likes of ras el hanout duck fillet with foie gras and citrus gastrique; and akamadai or red hosehead fish with firefly squid, beurre blanc and XO sauce.

No meal in Water Library's glass-walled modernist space is complete without wine—add a pairing for B1,000 or take the "premium" route with a B3,000 package (for the latter, think Giuseppe Cortese Chardonnay Scapulin 2016, Langhe, Piedmont, Italy; Schloss Lieser Riesling 2016, Mosel, Germany).
