ART: From Monet to Kandinsky. Visions Alive

This huge multimedia exhibition offers a riveting, immersive experience featuring state-of-the-art HD projection, animation and striking surround sound, featuring the works of 16 prolific artists including Degas, Modigliani, Mondrian, Monet, Rousseau, Renoir, Kandinsky and van Gogh to name a few. More than 1,500 pieces are brought to life in a grand display alongside talks by scholars of European art, supported by the European Union, as well as the opportunity to try your own hand at painting while sipping on wine.

COMEDY: Phill Jupitus

British actor, poet, radio DJ and comedian Phill Jupitus is coming to Bangkok. He is best known for his prominent role as team captain on the enduring UK comedy panel gameshow, Never Mind the Buzzcocks—a program notorious for its dry, sarcastic humor, scathing attacks, and tongue-in- cheek approach to topical issues. Jupitus is prone to hilarious storytelling based on the chaos of his own life, delivering adult topics in a childish and very relatable manner. His observational style of humor perfectly balances moments of silence with comic outbursts.

Tickets are long gone from all the official channels, but we recommend doing whatever it takes to catch rising American alt-pop singer and producer Lauv‘s Bangkok debut. The San Francisco-born artist rose to acclaim in 2015 with the release of his debut EP, Lost in the Light, which showcased his genre-crossing blend of pop, rock and dance music. He is best known for the singles "I Like Me Better" and "The Other" both taken from his 2018 album, I Met You When I was 18.

The "I'm Yours" crooner Jason Mraz will drop by Bangkok as part of his Good Vibes Asia Tour. The American singer-songwriter, 2010 Grammy award-winner just released his sixth album, Know., which boasts hits like “Have It All” and "More Than Friends (feat. Meghan Trainor). Fans can no doubt expect to hear other feel-good hits like "Lucky" and "Make it Mine" when Mraz makes his third trip to Thailand, following concerts in 2012 and 2015.

FESTIVAL: Pink Cloud Festival

Calling all Aussie surf-punk fans: live music promoter Wildest Youth presents this festival headlined by Australian punk bands Dune Rats (pictured) and Hockey Dad, plus America's Turnover. They'll be joined on the day by local talents Srirajah Rockers and Death of Heather, with more acts to be announced. The lineup is not the only thing the festival has going for it.
