Carey Marx has twice won Best International Show at New Zealand Comedy Festival.

Singapore-based live comedy outfit Magic Rock (past shows: Doug Stanhope, Bill Bailey, Stephen Carlin) are back on Nov 17, this time with British comedian Carey Marx.

The writer and star of BBC Radio 4’s Intensive Carey gained international recognition after twice being awarded winner of Best International Show at New Zealand Comedy Festival. He is well-known on the UK comedy circuit for his mischievous dark humor showcased at festivals like the Edinburgh Fringe and Leicester Comedy Festival.

Marx will be supported by South Africa’s “awkwardly relatable” comic Tsitsi Chiumya, who was handpicked by The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah to perform on his televised special, Nationwide.
