Get tropical with Tropic City’s new cocktail menu
Head there from Oct 9-14 for bargain launch prices.
Head to Tropic City’s new cocktail launch event for the chance to try out their brand new creations at a bargain price.
Between Oct 9-14, they will be offering any three new cocktails for B950—meaning savings of over B300, if you play your cards right.
The eight new concoctions are filled with fruits, vegetables, herbs, and spices, all incorporated using inventive techniques, from infusions, fat washing, clarifying, and pickling, to tinctures, homemade bitters, and more.
For a refreshingly fruity hit, try out the Chronic Iced Tea (B370), which combines Appleton Reserve rum, Brazilian Abelha Cachaca, coconut, mint, passion fruit, peach, pineapple, lemon and vanilla—dangerously tasty and easy to drink.
To see what their latest fat washing technique is all about, order the Agitations Tropicales (B370), whose banana and butter-washed Plantation 3 Stars rum offers a texture found nowhere else, while the complexly-flavored 3 Dots and a Splash (B370) combines coconut oil-washed Diplomatico Planas rum with pineapple shrub, banana tincture and a dash of chocolate liqueur.
For something a little off-the-wall, the throwback Bone Thugs-N-Harmony (B420) makes use of unusual bone marrow- and caramelized pineapple-washed Bacardi Carta Oro, or if you want to know it would be like to drink yadom, then go for the Skywalker (B370), which gets a hit of the good stuff from horsepower bark-infused Broken Shed vodka, mixed with herbal pimento dram, sweet falernum, honey, pineapple and lime, and topped off with bright pink "beetroot air."
You can pretend it's just water with the deceptively clear milk punch Tropicopop (B390), or if you need to ease yourself in, there’s a low ABV option in the Rico Suave (B350), which combines Fino sherry and Giffard banana liqueur with homemade tomato cordial, celery bitters and black pepper tincture, topped off ginger ale—ideal for a Sunday hair of the dog sesh.
