Drool.

If you're the type to flock to Bangkok with your friends for your bimonthly quota of papaya salad, tom yam soup and other droolworthy goodies, you'll be happy to know that Singapore's unofficial favorite cuisine is having the showcase it deserves at Bayfront event space later this month.

On Aug 20, clear your schedule for the Chang Sensory Food Trail, a series of global events showcasing Thai food, travelling from Singapore to Los Angeles to London, with Thai-American celebrity chef Jet Tila in tow. Sure, the branding is a bit over the top, but the part you should care about is that some of Singapore's favorite Thai restaurants will be on hand, serving up classic dishes.

Highlights include cured pork fritters from Long Chim, pad Thai with crab meat by Folks Collective, grilled pork collar courtesy of Rochor Thai (pictured) and lots more.

The all-day festival (2-10pm) will also have a seven-piece funk band, graffiti artists painting murals, themed "sensory trails" and a dance party near the end of the night.

Entrance is free, though you'll pay for the food. And obviously, there will be liters of Chang on offer to wash it all down with.
