Known for creating intricate menus that celebrate the rich biodiversity of Peru, Chef Virgilio Martinez is the man behind Latin America's best restaurant (and the world's fourth best restaurant) Central Restaurante and Michelin-starred Lima in London. Foodies here will have an opportunity to discover his cuisine for themselves as he takes the helm at Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore's BLU Restaurant from Oct 25 to 29.

For five nights, Chef Martinez will guide you on a journey from the Andes to the Amazon at his pop-up dinners. With dishes that use vegetables, roots and herbs you've probably never heard of, his "ecosystem" tasting menus are scholarly works of art.
