Finally, you just might be able to afford a night at Sri Panwa. The luxury resort has just opened 30 pool suites at B17,600/night versus B28,000 for the original villas.
In keeping with the resort’s tropical contemporary style, The Habita consists of 30 pool suites and penthouses, each equipped with its own private infinity swimming pool. This part of the resort faces west, so you can expect private views of the sunset against the pristine Andaman Sea.
On top of that, Habita also features two casual dining spots. Inspired by the island’s strong Chinois-Portuguese heritage, Baba Chino serves up creative Chinese dishes that range from dim sum to Guangdong-style food (open 11am-2pm and 6pm-10pm).
Guests can also enjoy seafood and meaty grilled items on the sunbeds by the new waterfall forest pool, straight from the kitchen of Baba Hot Box (12pm-6pm).
At the moment, low season rates (Apr 17-Oct 31) for Thai residents start from B13,400/night for the pool suite, while high season rates (Jan 11-Apr 16 and Nov 1-Dec 19) start at B17,600/night-considerably cheaper than the usual B28,000.
The iconic Baba Nest Bar, which sits at the top of the resort, currently requires around 29 days’ advance booking for outside guests.
