After only eight months of operation, one of Bangkok's best sources for quality beer, Ekkamai's Wishbeer Home Bar, is set to close.

But fear not, according to owner Jerome Le Louer, the bar will reopen next year. Though the new location is not yet finalized, Le Louer assures us it won't be too far from the former one and should be open by the first quarter of 2016. Stay tuned. 

In the meantime, they'll be throwing a farewell party this Thursday, Dec 31, from 5pm onwards, featuring Mexican food supplied by El Mariachi Taqueria.     

They'll be attempting to empty the kegs with special prices (B100/B200 for half/pint) on eight selected beers including Bavaria, Liefmans, Punk IPA, Chouffe Soleil, Vitus, Ryan & The Beaster Bunny, Hipster Ale and La Trappe Wit.
