Enjoy free-flow Mai Tai with Sunday brunch by the river
Claiming to be the home of the Mai Tai cocktail, the Trader Vic’s restaurant chain is pretty serious when it comes to this tiki-style drink.
Now, in keeping with its Polynesian decor, the Anantara Riverside’s branch has added a Mai Tai package to its all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch.
At B1,999 per person, you can indulge in lines of seafood on ice, cold cuts, foie gras, sashimi and rolls as well as the restaurant’s signature ribs, teppanyaki, tempura and grilled seafood.
To go with food, you are welcomed with a virgin Mai Tai poured from a fountain, followed it up with a barrel-aged Mai Tai from the cold-cut room and order one of three special Mai Tais infused with peppermint, wild berries or earl grey tea.
On top of that, you can also taste twists on the traditional Mai Tai, such as margarita, mojito, pina colada and the blue Hawaii.
You can also take a short class from resident mixologist Ron Ramirez to mix your own Mai Tai according to the original 1944. recipe. Available every Sunday from 11:30am.
